For many years, I have admired, researched and collected many Hermes products. Nowadays, with the development of the market, there are many replica Hermes products. Therefore, I know that countless potential buyers and sellers want an independent opinion on the authenticity of Hermes handbags. With the concerns and needs of my customers, I decided to launch Pearluxy's authentication as an authentication service specifically for Hermes using my more than 10 years of experience and knowledge about Hermes handbags and accessories.

About us

Pearluxy is an independent authentication service that renders opinions on the authenticity of Hermès handbags and is not affiliated with, sponsored or endorsed by Hermès. The opinions rendered by Pearluxy are my personal opinions and are based on my knowledge of Hermès handbags through over 10 years of collecting, purchasing, selling and studying them. I do my best to ensure that my opinions are accurate. Customers agree to release each of Pearluxy and me from any liability and to defend, indemnify and hold each of Pearluxy and me harmless from and against any loss, damage or claim arising out of, based on or resulting from any opinion rendered by either of us in respect of Hermès handbags.

Authentication process

Pearluxy's authentication service provides opinions of authenticity on Hermès handbags and wallets.

  • Contact

    Clients request their needed service on the contact page of this website. Pearluxy will send a reply that outlines terms and applicable fees, provides a payment link and lists the pictures needed to undertake the authentication.

  • Authentication

    Pearluxy’s work is based on the examination of pictures submitted by Pearluxy’s client of various parts of the item to be authenticated. These pictures are then analyzed by Pearluxy and compared with pictures of similar details of both authentic and counterfeit items from Pearluxy’s extensive reference library.

  • Payment

    Payment of the corresponding fee for a Pearluxy service is made in advance of picture evaluation and is made in US dollars.

  • Pictures

    Pictures should be large size, taken in natural light and be in focus. Sample pictures and instructions for taking pictures of all models of handbags are available and clients are encouraged to request these in advance. If there is a link to the item online, it should be included. No refund of fees is given if satisfactory pictures cannot be provided during the authentication process. (Details on how to take photos will be sent via email after the customer pays the fee)

  • Certificates of Opinion

    Pearluxy’s opinions of authenticity are issued in a certificate on Pearluxy’s letterhead and delivered in pdf form by email. All certificates contain a unique QR code and are linked to Pearluxy’s website. The certificate states that the item is either “Authentic” or “Not Authentic” in bababebi’s opinion.

    • Certificates of authentic items describe model, date of manufacture and additional identification stamps. They show a picture of the item and the identification stamp.
    • Certificates of non authentic items list aspects that are inconsistent with authenticity and show a picture of the item and the identification stamp.

    Turnaround time

    • 72 hours or less after receipt of satisfactory pictures and payment of fees. Pearluxy is closed on weekends.
    • Same day service is available by prior arrangement at double the applicable fee.
    • Opinions are worked in the order the pictures and payment are received.
